Made for reflection

Everything your journal needs. Nothing it doesn’t.

Daymark keeps the mechanics out of sight so you can return to the page.

01

One page per day

Open any date from the calendar and give the day a title, a mood, and the words worth keeping.

Markdown made calm

Write naturally in Markdown, then switch to a beautifully typeset preview whenever you want to read.

Find any memory

Search titles and full journal text, then jump straight back to the original date.

Portable by default

Every entry remains available as a dated Markdown file that ordinary text editors can open.

Local backups

Create a portable ZIP backup on demand or let Daymark prepare a weekly local snapshot.

Private by design

No account, advertising, analytics, tracking, or cloud service stands between you and your writing.

A simple ritual

Open. Write. Remember.

A daily practice should feel lighter than the thoughts it holds.

1

Choose your journal

Create a new journal folder or open one that already contains your Markdown entries.

2

Write today

Capture the day in a focused editor that saves locally while you write.

3

Return anytime

Use the calendar and search to revisit the moments that shaped your days.

Questions

Good to know.

Daymark is intentionally straightforward about your writing and your privacy.

Where are my journal entries stored?

In the journal folder you choose on your computer. Daymark also keeps a local index so calendar browsing and search remain fast.

Does Daymark upload my writing?

No. Daymark does not provide cloud sync and does not send journal content to IAM_DEV.

Do I need an account?

No account, sign-in, or subscription is required.

Can I read my entries without Daymark?

Yes. Entries are mirrored as dated Markdown files that can be opened with ordinary text editors.

How do backups work?

You can create a ZIP backup at any time. If weekly local backups are enabled, Daymark creates them in your Documents folder.

Can I search older entries?

Yes. Search covers entry titles and full journal text, and each result opens its original date.

Which languages are available?

English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, and Italian.

How can I get support?

Email support@iamdev.me with any question, problem, or feedback.
