Privacy Policy

Daymark is designed to keep your journal private and under your control. This policy explains what the Daymark application and IAM_DEV do with information.

Journal content

Daymark stores journal entries, preferences, search information, and backups locally on your computer. Journal entries are also mirrored to plain Markdown files in the folder you choose. Daymark does not upload journal content to IAM_DEV and does not provide cloud synchronization.

Accounts and personal information

Daymark has no account system and does not require your name, email address, phone number, or payment information to use the application.

Analytics and tracking

Daymark does not include advertising, analytics, behavioral tracking, or telemetry. IAM_DEV does not receive information about what you write or how you use the application.

Backups and exported files

Backups and exported files are created only in locations on your computer. You are responsible for protecting, retaining, and deleting those files. If you place them in a third-party synchronized folder, that third party’s privacy policy applies.

Microsoft Store

Microsoft may process purchase, installation, diagnostic, or Store review information under Microsoft’s own privacy terms. IAM_DEV does not control Microsoft’s processing.

Support email

If you contact support@iamdev.me, IAM_DEV receives the information you voluntarily include in your message and uses it only to respond and provide support. Email may be retained when reasonably necessary to resolve the request or meet legal obligations.

Children’s privacy

Daymark does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the application does not transmit journal content or require an account, IAM_DEV does not receive a user’s age or writing.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be published on this page with a new effective date.
